Coleman Insights has a rare opening for a vice president who can help us grow our business of providing research-based insights to our radio clients. We are seeking an individual who is prepared to make a long-term career commitment—if you are seeking your “next gig,” please do not apply—and in return we will make an investment in that person’s development and success.
To be considered for this position, you must possess an extensive combination of skills and experience. You must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. You must have at least ten years of experience in radio and/or related media, during which time you must have had direct involvement with strategic and/or music research. You must have strong analytical skills. You must be well-acquainted with contemporary thinking on positioning and brand development. You must be able to write well. You must excel at delivering presentations. You must have relevant sales experience. You must have a strong customer service orientation. You must be willing to travel frequently. You must be proficient with software and new technologies. You must have a deep understanding of Arbitron, BBM and other audience measures. You must be willing to work from our Research Triangle Park, NC headquarters. You must be committed to finding answers to the industry’s hardest questions.
